Master's degree in psychology, University of Muenster, Germany, 1968; doctor’s degree in psychology, University of Muenster, 1970; professor of sport psychology, Free University of West-Berlin, 1973 to 1979; professor of psychology (social psychology and applied psychology), University of Regensburg, 1979 until 2005 (now retired). Founding member of the IKO-Institute for Cooperation management at the University of Regensburg.

Main research areas: action psychology, cross-cultural psychology, psychology of intercultural action, organizational psychology.
